The “holiday season” is here. Christmas is in 14 days. The shops are packed, the online orders are on the way and many people are panicked about buying things. Do I have the money to afford presents? What should I get my father-in-law? Lots of stress comes up around the holidays. To be honest, I’m not much of a fan of Christmas, or December in general. There are lots of other times of the year that I like a lot more (like November – my birthday, Dia de los Muertos AND Thanksgiving all in one month, woohoo).
December, usually is a time for reflection. Looking at the year that is coming to a close, and looking forward to the year ahead. (Note: you can read out my 29 Intentions for the year ahead – here!). More importantly though, I think December is a time when I think about what really matters to me.
I put together an article about what I’m thinking about when it comes to holiday gift shopping… check out my 4 Gift Ideas for International Travelers.
