This is my “life doesn’t suck” face.
Looking over that list, for the first time in six months, makes me surprised by myself, because I have done all of them!!! Plus a few extras…
- Published in the March 2013 SIETAR professional intercultural journal
- Hired (translate: paid) to give an intercultural training in April
- Co-presenting a webinar in April, topic is “Interculturalists & Social Media Marketing”
- Visited two new countries – Austria…. and ITALY, and met the love of my life – Venice – muaaahh!

-: THE NEXT 6 MONTHS :-
- Spring break in Portugal
- Italy in May (The love affair continues…)
- Awaiting replies for a mountain of applications I’ve submitted:
—– Internship at Institute for Global Change in Switzerland
—– Intercultural Summer Academy in Germany
—– Teaching job at a summer camp in Spain
—– Conference workshop proposal for the SIETAR Congress in Estonia
—– Miscellaneous opportunities in London also in the works…
- Grad school continues to be a continual project, possible contenders these days are UK or Finland for September 2014
- Studying Spanish is a key focus as it is really difficult to advance when all day long I am teaching English, and everyone you meet wants to speak in English with you. I’m not going to give up though! Even with my very limited budget, I put 110€ towards Spanish classes each month, its my largest investment aside from rent and food. I won’t give up.
- Fitness has taken a hit these last months. I walk so much therefor stay trim, so allow more excuses about the gym. Yet, still I need the endorphin rush and sweaty workouts to tone up! Summer is on its way and I will be bikini-ready!
- Now that the ball is rolling with things career-wise, my goal is to just keep up with everything!
- And to keep writing
- Follow my gut and heart and just keep living life my way
